Having been a successful piano shop for over 8 years we know exactly what standard a piano should be at, this is what sets our tuning standards apart from pretty much all of the others. We believe the upkeep of any acoustic piano regardless of age or value is paramount and should not stop at just a tuning every year or so. This is why we have introduced our pay monthly plan to make owning a piano as stress and hassle free as possible. There is no need to have to remember to get cash out before the tuner arrives or having to keep a tuning card of when it next needs to be tuned. We take care of all of that for you! The costs are split on a month directly debit and we will contact you every 6 months to arrange your next tuning service when it is due.

In addition to all of this we offer much, much more than just coming to tune your piano. For the price below your piano will be professionally tuned every 6 months. On top of this every other tuning/every 12 months your piano will receive:

• FULL comprehensive service which includes removing all of the panels, all of the keys and the piano action.

• The bottom section above the pedals (if upright piano) will be hoovered out and the pedal springs lubricated to prevent squeaking.

• All the dust and debris which collects under the keys will be cleaned to prevent potentially sticking keys.

• The felts will be cleaned and dusted before the keys are reinserted. 

• All keys will be individually cleaned with certified antibacterial solution before being put back in.

• Pedals will be checked and adjusted if required to make sure the dampers are letting off at the correct distance.

• Both/all 3 pedals will be professionally polished and buffed back to a natural high sheen.

• All internal moving parts will be lubricated with approved piano-safe PTFE lubricant. 

• Soundboard will be cleaned (if grand piano) using our special cleaning device and solution.

• Pin block will be delicately dusted (if grand piano) to prevent build up of dirt and debris around tuning pins.

Most pianos never ever end up being professionally cleaned and serviced. This is predominantly because tuners either can't be bothered to, or don't want to offer this service as the insides of a piano can be very dirty and dusty. However not only does this cause issues down the line, it is an integral part of piano upkeep to avoid deterioration to many of the 10,000+ moving internal parts.
